The Dingsin R&D Research Center, located within Taichung Software Park, is a forward-thinking development designed to support the growth of big data, artificial intelligence, IoT, e-sports, and digital communications in central Taiwan. Positioned at the core of the district's innovation ecosystem, the center serves as a hub for cutting-edge research and technology, fostering collaboration and industry advancement.

The company founder has a deep passion for architecture and explicitly designated the “circle” as the core design concept.

Because the basement must accommodate a large number of legally required parking spaces, an 8.5m by 8.5m column grid was adopted to ensure optimal parking efficiency

Above ground, the square column grid and office cubical units fill the central circular area,

while the irregular corners along the circle's edge are arranged as small discussion tables and lounge spaces, cleverly converting otherwise underutilized areas.

This layout resembles the discarded edge scraps after wafer cutting; however, using a circular office floor plan does not cause significant space efficiency loss.

As a highly customized system, ERP requires forming dedicated teams for different clients, and these teams are distributed among various circular clusters.

The founder places great importance on communication and interaction between teams, thus designing numerous outdoor, semi-outdoor, and indoor interaction spaces between the circles to connect them.

These spaces feature overlapping and reconfiguration of circles and arcs, forming the core architectural elements of the entire building.
