Upon completion, the project is expected to drive Taoyuan’s cultural and artistic development, while integrating with surrounding transportation infrastructure to become a key hub for cultural exchange in northern Taiwan.
Design Concept
Blending the elegant curves of traditional Chinese rooflines with modern structural expression, the design features a dense arrangement of curved steel beams. Natural daylight filters through the gaps between these beams, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow that shifts with the passage of time.
