Size
Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, won the right to host the 2012 UEFA European Football Championship.
The old national stadium was outdated, so a new modern stadium for 85,000 people was urgently needed.
With many years of research and real experience in stadium design, our company finished the design in a short time, overcame visa and other problems, and successfully joined the bidding.
The competition attracted 19 well-known design companies from around the world, including Norman Foster from the UK, GMP from Germany (Von Gerkan Marg & Partners), Ove Arup, the world's largest design consulting firm, and SCI from Canada.
In the first round, our company got the highest score and was selected, moving to the second round together with Norman Foster, GMP, and SCI.
In the end, our company won with strong support, getting 24 votes, and received the top prize for the Kyiv Olympic Stadium renovation project.
