Taipei Nan Shan Plaza is a landmark development in the heart of Taipei's Xinyi District. Located next to Taipei 101, this project introduces a modern, integrated complex designed to energize the area and create a lasting impact on the city. The development combines an office tower, retail spaces, and a cultural hall into a cohesive whole, balancing bold design with functionality to deliver a world-class urban destination.

Design Concept

Taipei Nan Shan Plaza is designed in the shape of “two hands joined in prayer,” symbolizing blessings, gratitude, harmony, and prosperity for Taiwan.

The complex consists of an office tower, retail podium, and diamond-shaped cultural entrance building.

The curtain wall system withstands wind pressures above level 16 andincludes dampers and deep foundation piles to resist strong winds andearthquakes.

Special Design Elements

The polygonal tower integrates sunshades to reduce wind shear and solar heat gain while enhancing nighttime lighting.

The retail podium's exterior is decorated with 3D stainless steel plum blossom patterns reflecting Taiwanese culture and art.

The project holds Taiwan's Diamond Level Green Building and LEED Gold certifications, demonstrating energy efficiency and sustainability.

Floors 5–42 house premium offices, while floors 43–45 feature scenic restaurants and a sky bar.

The 7-story retail podium includes department stores, Atre shops, and cultural venues.

The diamond-shaped entrance building contains a cultural center for exhibitions and public events.

Connected by underground passages and skybridges, the plaza creates a pedestrian-friendly circulation network.

A landscaped sky garden on the 4th floor and adjacent plazas enhance openness and connect to Xinyi District's urban fabric.

The basement includes 31 large bus parking spaces to alleviate traffic congestion.
